Spin the Wheel — Let Chance Decide

Can’t agree on pizza toppings, who presents first, or who wins the prize? Put the names on the wheel, give it a spin, and let a genuinely random result settle it — no arguments, no favourites.

  • ✓ Powered by your browser’s cryptographic random generator — the same tech that secures bank logins.
  • ✓ Perfect for classrooms, giveaway hosts, streamers, offices and family game nights.
  • ✓ Ten tools in all: wheels, name pickers, dice, coins, lottery numbers and team makers.

Everything runs 100% in your browser. Your lists never leave your device, and there is nothing to install.

◉ Spin the Wheel

Add anything to the wheel — student names, prizes, dinner ideas, dares — then spin for a fair, random winner. A favourite of teachers running classroom picks and hosts running live giveaways.

The wheel has spoken

All the chance tools

Nine more ways to let luck call the shots — pick names, draw raffle winners, roll dice, flip coins, split teams and more.

No tool matches that — try “dice”, “team” or “lottery”.

Wheels & Picks

★ Random Name Picker

Paste a list of names and pick one or more winners at random, with no repeats. Made for teachers choosing students fairly, team leads picking volunteers, and anyone running a quick draw.

🎟 Giveaway / Raffle Draw

Run a proper prize draw: paste your entrants, choose how many winners, and reveal them one by one with a suspense countdown. Built for streamers, small businesses and community giveaways.

Numbers & Chance

# Random Number Generator

Generate truly random numbers between any two values — one at a time or a whole batch, with duplicates on or off. Handy for raffles, classroom questions, game stats and quick decisions.

⚄ Dice Roller

Roll one to six dice with a tap — no more hunting for the die that rolled under the sofa. Great for board game nights, maths lessons and tabletop role-play warm-ups.

◐ Coin Flipper

Flip one coin or ten at once and settle any “heads or tails?” moment fairly. It keeps score as you go — totals, percentages and streaks — for coin-toss fans and probability lessons alike.

$ Lottery Number Generator

Generate lucky-dip style number sets for Powerball, Mega Millions and EuroMillions, or set your own ranges for any local draw. A fun quick-pick helper for lottery players everywhere.

Just for fun — every combination has exactly the same odds of winning, generated or not. Play responsibly.

Groups & Fun

♟ Random Team Generator

Split any list of people into balanced random teams — no picking favourites, no “not on my team” drama. A lifesaver for PE teachers, workshop facilitators and quiz-night organisers.

? Yes or No Wheel

Stuck on a yes-or-no question? Spin the decision wheel for a playful verdict — Yes, No, Definitely Yes, No Way, Maybe or Ask Again. For harmless everyday dilemmas and party games.

A Random Letter & Word Picker

Pick random letters for word games, common English words for Pictionary and charades, or a strong random string for passwords. One small tool that teachers, game players and the security-conscious all reach for.

About WheelKit

WheelKit is a small, friendly toolbox of chance: one big spin-the-wheel plus nine supporting tools for picking names, drawing raffle winners, rolling dice, flipping coins, generating lottery quick-picks, splitting teams and breaking yes-or-no deadlocks.

Every pick is made with the Web Crypto API — the cryptographic random number generator built into your browser. It is the same class of randomness used to secure online banking, and it means no result here is pre-set, weighted or quietly influenced by us. What you spin is what chance gives you.

WheelKit is part of the TapeToolHQ network of free browser tools. There are no accounts, no downloads and no tracking of the lists you paste in — your names and entries are processed on your own device and forgotten the moment you close the tab.

Frequently asked questions

Is WheelKit really random — or is the winner chosen in advance? +
Really random. Every spin, pick and draw uses crypto.getRandomValues, your browser’s cryptographic random generator, with rejection sampling so no entry gets a hidden edge. We cannot predict a result, and neither can you — that is rather the point of a wheel.
Can I use the wheel in my classroom? +
Absolutely — it is one of the most popular uses. Paste your class list once, project the wheel, and spin to choose who answers, presents or picks the next activity. Turn on “Remove winner after each spin” and every student gets a turn before anyone is picked twice.
Is it fair for giveaways and raffles? +
Yes. The Giveaway / Raffle Draw samples winners without replacement, so nobody can win twice in one draw, and the sequential reveal is just showmanship — the winners are decided by the same secure randomness the moment you press draw. Duplicate names in your list count as separate entries, so tidy your list first if each person should enter once.
Does WheelKit store my names or entries? +
No. Everything runs locally in your browser tab. Nothing you type or paste is sent to a server, saved in a database or kept after you leave the page.
Can generated lottery numbers improve my odds? +
No — and any site that claims otherwise is fibbing. Every combination has identical odds, whether you picked it, we generated it, or it came to you in a dream. Treat the generator as a fun quick-pick, and always play responsibly.
Does it work on phones and tablets? +
Yes. The wheels are drawn on a high-resolution canvas that scales crisply to any screen, and every tool is designed to work one-handed on a phone as well as on a classroom whiteboard.
